PHMask is an innovative peeling, it offers advantages from the combination of glycolic and salicylic acid properties. This symbiosis strategic is accompanied by the extraordinary emollient and protective power of Malva and by smoothing and regenerative effect on the skin of malic acid.
After long years of study, begun in 1974, on Alpha hydroxyl acid tested on the skin, was highlighted the glycolic acid, distinguished for its very reduced molecular dimensions. Its structure in fact, based on a chain of two carbon atoms, manages to penetrate easily the corneum stratum of skin, up to reach the surface of the dermis, moving quickly from the epidermis to the hypodermis and acting as a sort of Aries, catalyzing the absorption of other molecular structures. The choice of salicylic acid in combination with the glycolic acid born by the property of the first able to block, even temporarily, the sebaceous glands, giving to peeling an effective action against the fat skin.
The aromatic group 1,2-hydroxy-carboxylic of salicylic acid confers property sebum-regulating to the molecular structure, but being an hydrophilic group, fails to overcome easily membranes lipid and the stratum corneum. In its help comes glycolic acid that thanks to its size comes between the corneocytes, it reduces the negative charges of cement that binds them and it weakens the bonds of desmosomes from the base, at the same time salicylic acid is active as keratolytic pure and goes to break the same corneocytes, reducing the thickness of corneum stratum. Glycolic acid doesn’t stop at the surface of skin, but it plunges followed by salicylic acid until hypodermic level, where it catalyses the replacement of the baseline cells with those in the surface layer, effect amplified by regenerative power of malic acid.
Citric and Malic acids  are both products of the cycle of Krebs, all metabolic reactions that are found to the base of the cellular respiration. To bring these substances on the cute means to intensify the production of oxygen available to the cells for their regenerative cycle, increase growth and production of new cells, which can be used to replace the dead cells of the stratum corneum.

Malic acid can also be considered a precursor of oxalacetat, the latter by the action of citrate synthase binds to a molecule of acetyl-CoA for the synthesis of citrate, salt of citric acid, this phenomenon marks the beginning of a New Krebs cycle, which essentially it ends with malic acid and it starts with citric acid.

Salicylic Acid is a BETA-hydroxy-acid of natural origin, it’s extracted by plants and it’s used in cosmetic for his exfoliated and keratolytic properties, it increases brightness to the skin. It’s profit to contrast the premature aging of the skin, it improves the conditions of thick, rough and opaque skin, and to eliminate callosity.
Its peeling action, although superficial, produces a desquamating effect on the stratum corneum similar to any other agent and its intense proliferative action on the germinative layer creates a profound renewal of skin.

Salicylic and glycolic acids cause dermal superficial peeling, with which they favor a renewal of the surface skin. But while the first is more appropriate to acne and fat skin and it acts uniformly, the second is specific for the treatment of blemishes of dry skin and aging.
Precisely it's because of this gentle smoothing action that salicylic acid is one of the more diffuse component of creams and mild detergent for fat skin and acne.

 

Malva is one of most popular officinal plant: it’s has emollient and protective effect on skin and mucosa, it softens, it refreshes and it removes irritations and red patch. The extract of Malva, characterized by an highest perceptual of mucilages, is used above all for delicate skins creams, detergents, foot baths, tooth-pastes, after sun-lotion, salves and hand-creams.

The glycolic acid is the simplest alpha-hydroxyl-acid since it’s a very little molecule that it can be absorbed easily from epidermis. The glycolic acid is extracted from Sugar Cane, typical plant of tropical zones. The glycolic acid, in the right dose, eliminates death cells and it allows the regeneration of skin, carrying new and vital cells on the surface: for this it increase the brightness of the ace, the keratin in excess will be eliminated and so the skin will be more smooth, elastic and hydrated.
The use of glycolic acid leads on the skin can reduce wrinkles and signs caused by acne or hyperpigmentation. When applied to the skin glycolic acid reacts with the upper epidermis, weakening the binding properties of the lipids that keep them united epithelial cell death. This property thus leads to the removal of the outer layer of skin, exposing the lower layers healthier, brighter and better appearance.

Aging skin and wrinkles

Glycolic acid, due to its properties, allowing a better exfoliation of dead cells, improving cell turnover, and this restores luminosity to the skin, reduction of wrinkles, uniform color, improves hydration, and the state of the skin surface becomes compact and smooth. Also stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, improves skin tropism.

Patches of the skin

Glycolic acid helps to promoting the exfoliation surface gradually remove pigmented cells, also allow for better penetration of hydroquinone, a substance that blocks the formation of melanin, so by using the product followed by a gradual reduction in the amount contained in the level of hyperchromic stain and its gradual clearing.

Oily skin and acne

Glycolic acid with the action first smoothing improves the sanitary conditions that have altered the terrain where the acne you can easily take root and proliferate.
